Problem

A scaling business using an outside agency charging between 12-15% per placement fee. Spent £70k in 7 months on recruitment.

Requirement

Business set to double in size within twelve months. Wanted a more cost effective and streamlined recruitment process . Take the business on a journey to becoming an ‘Employer of choice’ within the area and within their Industry.

Solution

Carolann became the internal recruiter 2-3 days a week, tweaked the existing recruitment process and implemented new processes to ensure the candidate journey was personal and professional from start to finish.

Outcome

Recruited 90 staff in twelve months and saved the business £280k in the process. Streamlined the recruitment process, delivered recruitment training and coaching to all line managers. This is still an ongoing process whilst working towards building an internal recruitment team. Supported with the social media overhaul to ensure the business became as attractive as possible to prospective employees. Networked on behalf of the business at the chamber of commerce.
