Here’s what business owners usually ask before they work with us, and what you’ll probably want to know, too.

So, are you a recruitment agency or a consultancy?

Neither.

We’re embedded consultants. That means we work inside your business as part of your team. We don’t just send CVs or drop in with advice and disappear. We help you fix the process, coach your people, and make sure the systems support growth.

How long do you work with clients?

It depends on what you need.

Some clients bring us in for a few months to reset their recruitment or support with a growth phase. Others keep us involved longer to develop managers, fix systems, or prepare for succession. We’ll always agree on the scope and timing up front.

What does “embedded” actually mean in practice?

It means we act like an internal resource.

We use your email. Join your meetings. Sit in your Slack or Teams. We get to know your business, culture, and people. That’s how we spot what’s slowing things down and help you fix it in a way that sticks.

Can you just help us fill roles quickly?

We can, but we’ll also help you stop needing to fill them in a panic.

We’ll support the hiring, but we’ll also coach your managers, improve the process, and work on what’s causing people to leave or underperform.

Do you replace our internal HR or talent team?

No. We support them.

We often work alongside in-house teams who are stretched, firefighting, or trying to build capacity. We can take the pressure off while also helping them upskill and improve what’s already in place.

What size of business do you usually work with?

Most of our clients are UK-based SMEs, anywhere from 10 to 250 people, who are growing, changing, or getting ready to step back.

What they have in common: they care about people, know things aren’t working as they should, and want more than a quick fix.

Is this more expensive than using a recruiter?

In most cases, it works out much better value.

You’re not paying per hire or by percentage of salary. You’re paying for hands-on support that helps you hire better and build internal capability. That means fewer agency fees in future and far less rework.

What happens when you leave?

You keep everything we’ve built together.
